Jane Smith and Achilty Little Imp

Prelim Dressage and Prelim Dressage to Music Finals and Points

Achilty Little Imp is a 9yo Scottish bred mare. Bred by Achilty stud. I bought her in April last year. We both had major surgery earlier this year so to be able to do anything this season has been fabulous!
We achieved a PB in our music with 79.4% snd we got our first 9s!
Achilty Little Imp will hopefully event next season. We managed 1 event this year at Oatridge and were double clear to come 5th.
I am chair of SDRC and already looking forward to competing at SRCES again next year.

Lesley Reid and Berryleys Top Gun (Boris)

Arena Eventing 70cm Points and finals winner. Prelim dressage points.

My name is Lesley Reid, and my horse Borris (BerryleyTop Gun) has been my loyal partner for the past seven years. Borris is now 17 years old, and together we have built a strong bond and have had some unforgettable experiences. From the day I brought him home, he has been more than just a horse—he is a true companion who has shared in both challenges and joyful moments. Our journey reflects patience and dedication. This year has proven that with time and hard work anything is possible and I can’t wait to continue our journey.

Becky Milns and Kiltiernan No.1

Novice Dressage Points winner

Kiltiernan no 1 or Sammy to his pals. 10yr pure connie, who is a sweetie obsessed over size Labrador. We have been together for 6yrs where we have been doing all his firsts together, as I got him as a freshly backed 4yr. This was his biggest event, we have been working hard all year to be able to attend, I am so proud of this achievement, and cant wait to see what we do next!

Sammy Taylor and Craigmancie Sweet Chestnut

Winner Dressage Finals

Craigmancie Sweet Chestnut, Cracker to his friends won the novice finals. I have produced Cracker from 9 months old to his now 9 years and after a couple of set backs with injuries and ailments he is back out enjoying the riding club scene. He takes part in all activities with Moray Riding Club which we have been involved in for a number of years who have supported us in the ups and downs, and a club which I have been delighted to support for many years.

Mandy Sall and Worsenden Liberty

Winner Elementary and PYO Dressage finals and points. Winner Elementary and PYO finals and point Dressage to Music

What an amazing day with Liberty managing her stress outside and dancing to our music The best scores for both tests and even got a 9 !!!! I hope to be back next year to celebrate my 80th birthday with everyone at area 22 and Buchan riding club friends

Kath Mayberry with Jacob TS

Winner Novice finals and Points Dressage to Music

Jacob TS is a Friesan gelding. He was made in Holland in 2010 and born in Bradford in 2011😆. I bought him as a weaned foal and backed and brought him on myself with the help of professionals. He has proved himself to be 100% in all situations and has the best attitude to schooling, always giving his best (which is more than can be said for his rider)😂. Buchan Riding Club has been great over the last 2 years and really encouraged us in our dressage.
I would sum up Jacob in a few words Handsome Talented Friendly Reliable and most importantly my Best Pony ❤

Georgia Bell with Mileage for Milo

Arena Eventing 90cm finals winner

We have been in partnership since 2022. Our focus of their partnership is show jumping competing at many agri shows, rc events and pony club with the pinnacle being competing at the Pony Club championships 2 years in a row. However we like to dip our toes in Pony Club and Riding Club Arena eventing and eventing, with dressage being Milo’s least favourite discipline. Milo is known for his sharp buzzy attitude to his work, and I sit very quiet and allowing him navigate his way with his sometimes unusual style!!

Toni Smith and Berryley Rough Diamond

Arena Eventing 60cm points winner

Diamond is my lovely 14-year-old mare, and we’ve been a team for the past two years. When I first got her, she hadn’t done a great deal, but with lots of training and time together we’ve built such a strong partnership. We had a fantastic time doing the SRCES last year, so it’s been brilliant fun collecting points throughout this season. Unfortunately, I broke my ankle last month and couldn’t be at the final, but I’m absolutely thrilled with how we’ve done and I’m really looking forward to coming back next year!

Caitlin Smith with Westside Mick

Eventing 70cm points and Final

I’m 14 yrs old and a keen member of Inverness-shire PC and also joined Moray Riding Club when I turned 12. I was very kindly offered Westside Mick (Mickey) last October on loan after a friend had him to come down a level for me to start XC and jump up to 80cm. He is the most amazing pony ever, he has taught me so much and I trust him completely!
I joined SRCES at the start of the year when I competed at my first 70 ODE and got 2nd place. We were so delighted to win at the last event with a decent dressage and double clear! What a way to end our partnership! The SRCES series has been great this year and so supportive, thank you all.
Mickey has now gone to a good friend on loan still teaching at the age of 21! We even managed to get his sash and rosettes on in the stable for our last photo!
